Series 40 is also available in closed design in various sizes. Closed profiles are universally applicable. Among other things, they have been developed as visually appealing designs. Likewise, the closed grooves cannot become dirty. This makes these profiles ideal for use in areas where cleanliness is important, for example in laboratories or in the food sector. A closed groove can be opened by means of a tool at any desired position.n.

- Production related deviations in regards to straightness, flatness and twist but also outside and t-slot dimensions are in accordance with the standard DIN EN 12020:2001 part 2.
